I’ve been trying to find the perfect buckwheat bread. I’ve been experimenting with different recipes for a few months now, and this is the best one. This is great if you are looking for a gluten-free snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 egg

Suggested Toppings

  • butter
  • fruit preserves

Servings: 2

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Add the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix
  3. Add the wet ingredients and mix
  4. Spread the dough onto a pan greased with olive oil in the shape of a bread loaf
  5. Bake for 27 minutes
  6. Let sit for a few minutes to settle. Add toppings, and enjoy
